This week LE students learned about different kinds of Poetry and then created their own Halloween Poems. On Halloween day we enjoyed sharing them with each other as well as, our Halloween stories. Students also loved listening to the mini-presentations at the Wax Museum put on by UE students.
Next week we will participate in lessons and discussions about Remembrance Day. We will also contribute to the KMS Remembrance Day Ceremony by reading poetry. Next week in Gym, we will continue working on our endurance and speed for our upcoming Cross Country Meet.
Tip/Reminder: Please limit sweets and treats from Halloween. Looking for one way to foster independence at home: Include your child in the preparing of lunches. Don’t forget clocks fall back on Sunday!
