We are unbelievably proud of two of our Grade 6 students who entered essays into the Rotary Club of Peterborough’s Canada Day Essay contest. The topic was what it means to be Canadian and there were many entries from schools across the city. We are happy to announce that Jake Smith won 1st place and Ryder Adair-King won 3rd place overall! Each student wins a scooter and is invited to a luncheon where they get to read their essay out loud. Way to go, boys and thank you for representing KMS so well in the community!
