Casa Weekly News – January 22nd to 26th

This Week:

What a week we have had here in Casa with our Canadian weather! The weather can be so unpredictable sometimes but we are glad everyone put safety first. On Wednesday, we had a great trip to the Camp Kawartha Environment Center where we learned all about winter, animals and tracking footprints.  One of our highlights was to see a real porcupine up high in an old cedar tree!

We are looking forward to watching the French Plays tomorrow. We know how hard Jodi and our students have worked to make these performances happen!

Next Week:

We can’t believe that next week is the last week of January. Time sure flies! We will be rescheduling  our Paramedic Visit from the ice day to Monday January, 29th. Thank you to Justin and Jodi Pinkerton for volunteering their time to come in and talk to us! Lastly, we invite you to the Parent Education session on Monday from 4-5:30. This session focuses on your child(s)transition into a new level. Teachers will be here to answer any questions you may have.

Tip/ Reminder:

We just want to remind you that we are asking you to refrain from handing out Valentines Day cards at school. We will be doing crafts, yoga, stories and songs to celebrate love and kindness.  Thank you for your cooperation!
