This week flew by so quickly! The students prepared some really delicious food to share at the Halloween Potluck. Here we are sitting down to our feast!
We hope that you enjoyed your PD Day today. Here are some important updates for the coming weeks:
Legion Guests:
The Middle School will be hosting guests from the Hastings Legion for lunch and a discussion about the importance of Remembrance Day. This will take place on Wednesday, November 8th.
KMS Remembrance Day Service:
The school will observe Remembrance Day with a ceremony for staff and students on Friday, November 10th. This will be a student led service with the MS students taking a role in the organization of the event.
November Parent Teacher Interviews:
The schedule and sign-up has been posted for Parent Teacher Interviews. Please note that interviews will take place in November instead of December this year. If I was more internet savvy i would post a link to the sign up HERE…but I am not. Sorry!
TASSS Arts Program Information Session:
On Tuesday, November 14th, we will have a visitor from the TASSS Arts Program come to the school to give an information session on the program. All Middle School students will attend as it provides a great opportunity for students to learn about the program and ask questions.
Winter Solstice Drama Production:
Thank you to those of you that participated in the Doodle Poll to select a date for the Drama Production. The date was chosen by a combination of popular vote and required attendance for main characters! The show will take place on Monday, December 18th at 7pm. Please stay tuned for more details.
