What’s Happened:
This week the Lower Elementary students participated in Halloween Festivities. The students enjoyed writing Halloween stories and sharing them with their classmates. Students were supportive of each other through the writing process and gave encouragement to each other when reading aloud. We also highly enjoyed having Drama on Wednesday with Kristi’s daughter Kaitlin and her friend Jordan. They are both Grade 9 students in the Drama program at TAS and it was “Take your kid to work day”. The students just loved learning from official teenagers. So much fun!
Next Week:
We will be having lessons and discussions about Remembrance Day and preparing for our KMS, whole school ceremony held on Friday. Members of the Hasting legion will be visiting us on Wednesday to speak about Remembrance Day and answer questions.
