This week: Halloween safety has been top of mind this week in Casa. We have been learning all about safe costumes, safe practices and healthy eating. In addition, we have been hard at work on our Halloween crafts. Please see the gallery pictures for a sneak peak!
KMS Halloween Policy: We ask that you do not send your child in a costume on Tuesday, or send any Halloween treats to school. Please save those kinds of celebrations for home!
If you can imagine a class of little people in costumes trying to go to the bathroom independently and trying to manage their day independently in class, it is rather difficult for them! If your child would like to wear orange and black or a spooky shirt, they are more than welcome to.
Next week: Don’t forget that Wednesday evening is KMS Night at Chapters! This is a very exciting fundraiser for our school and we hope to see you all there between 5:30 and 8:30. Also, please remember that next Friday is a P.A. Day.
Casa Tip: We ask that you take some time this weekend to label your child’s clothing. As the days get cooler, it becomes increasingly difficult for us to keep track of all of these items! We are really counting on you for support in this area.
